Our camps are designed to immerse children in the equestrian lifestyle. Campers don’t just ride; they learn to care for their equine partners, understand horse behavior, and develop life skills that stay with them long after the summer ends.
Safety-First Education
With a high instructor-to-camper ratio and our gentle, hand-picked schoolhorses, safety is our absolute priority. We teach proper handling, equipment use, and riding techniques tailored to each child's age and ability.
Hands-On Horsemanship
Campers learn the "why" behind the "how." From tacking up and grooming to anatomy and stable management, we empower children with comprehensive horse knowledge.

Faith Eli Memorial Fund
On May 10th, 2026, we lost our dear friend and colleague in a car accident; She was only 22 years old. Faith found her love for horses at Wildwood Farm when she was just 14, and we had the privilege of watching her grow into an amazing young horsewoman. She embraced every aspect of taking care of horses here, and when she was 16, she rescued a pregnant mare she named Lady and her soon-to-be-born son, Klee; they had their home at Wildwood Farm. Faith had a natural intuition with horses, and she gentled and trained both of them herself; she also lent her talents to others on the island who needed help with their horses. Faith was a beloved instructor, and the summer camps she taught each year brought her great joy in introducing the “littles” to the world of horses.
In her memory we have set up the Faith Eli Memorial Fund. This fund will allow students who are unable to attend Summer Horse Camp, or participate in lessons, due to financial reasons, the chance to be awarded a scholarship. The application process is easy: Simply write a minimum of 300- word essay on what attending summer horse camp would mean (from the child, not the parent) and we will present the essays to a panel of non-horse people to award the scholarship.

Required Gear & Attire
ASTM/SEI Certified Helmet (Available for loan if needed).
Long pants (jeans or breeches).
Closed-toe boots with a small heel.
Sack lunch and refillable water bottle.
Sunscreen and a positive attitude!
