Join Maria McGee, owner of Lotus Tea Bar and Studio and facilitator of Sports-Centric Movement Arts, for a retreat day of yoga with the equestrian athlete in mind! Your day includes a guided trail ride at Wildwood Farm located on beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington State.
This one-day event is hosted in a private equestrian venue built around the love of all things horses. The day will start with a meet-and-greet followed by a morning meditation and a gentle yoga class geared for equestrians, along with breathwork for riders and a guided relaxation experience. The session will include a Sports Centric Movement workshop.
Lunch will be provided and tailored for the health-conscious by Maria herself, owner of Lotus Tea Bar in Oak Harbor. After lunch, ride with one of our expert instructors on a one-hour, relaxed paced trail ride with Pacific NW Riding Academy to put your newly acquired equestrian-centric movements to practice through our lovely trails that wind through serene forest scenery and private roads. The day concludes with a closing program and final meditation back on the yoga mat. The cost of the full day workshop is $350 per person and the cost of the 1/2 day yoga workshop is $275.00 (this includes lunch and the trail ride but not the afternoon yoga session). and spots are limited!
